NightInGala: Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence and Leadership

On the evening of November 13th, NHNPA members and guests gathered in The Barn at Bull Meadow in Concord for the NightInGala, a special celebration marking NHNPA's 50th Anniversary. The event was filled with connection, recognition, and reflection on half a century of advancing nurse practitioner practice in New Hampshire.

The evening began with a beautiful cheese display and passed appetizers, followed by a delicious dinner buffet featuring seared chicken breast, braised short ribs, and wild mushroom potato gnocchi. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed the sounds of the Madonna Gordon Jass Trio, creating the perfect atmosphere for reconnecting with colleagues and celebrating our professional community. The band was fantastic, and Madonna Gordon being an NP made it even better.

Andrea Fitzgerald, APRN was named Nurse Practitioner of the Year. Her peers describe her as "a clinical rock," known for her compassion, diagnostic skill, and unwavering commitment to her patients and team. With a collaborative spirit and a calm presence, Andrea exemplifies what it means to lead with both heart and expertise.

Dr. Marcy Doyle, DNP, RN, was honored as Advocate of the Year. A visionary leader in workforce development and policy reform, Marcy's impact reaches from the bedside to the statehouse. Her ability to unite clinical practice, education, and policy has made her an indispensable advocate for NPs and the patients they serve.

Andrea and Marcy exemplify what it means to drive change and create positive outcomes through collaboration, compassion, and innovation—not only at the bedside, but across systems. They remind us that our legacy is not just what we do, but how we do it: together, in pursuit of a healthier New Hampshire for all.
