Job Posting for an Executive Director of the NHNPA

NHNPA is searching for a motivated candidate who enjoys flexible hours and strong advocacy work!

The New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association is a well-established, non-profit, professional advocacy organization, dedicated to preserving the strength and integrity of advanced practice nursing. We are looking for an individual to serve as our next Executive Director to help us in our mission to champion nurse practitioner practice in the state of New Hampshire.

As an Executive Director, your role will be to serve as the executive officer of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association (NHNPA). You would report to, and work in partnership with, the NHNPA Executive Committee to serve the diverse members of the Association.  You would be responsible for the overall management and direction of the organization in accordance with the Association’s vision and mission to promote nurse practitioner practice in the state of New Hampshire. As a dynamic resource of reliable professional and healthcare industry specific information, you would frequently work with key state government officials, as well as collaborate with other professional health care and consumer organizations which advocate positions consistent with NHNPA.  As a champion of nurse practitioner practice, the Executive Director provides direction of all operations, policies, budgets and programs of the Association, as well as addresses any potential areas of concern to the Board of Directors and general membership.

We welcome candidates who may have a variety of backgrounds, although experience in leadership, advocacy, and healthcare are valued. A great deal of the work can be done from your home office, although you must be close enough to participate in regular engagements in Concord, NH. This is a full-time, salaried position, however daily hours are flexible based on the needs and responsibilities of the organization.

This opportunity is now closed (updated March 1, 2020).
