NH Insurance Commission - Network Adequacy Review Process
The New Hampshire Insurance Department (NHID) has a stakeholder meeting on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, to review proposed changes to the New Hampshire network adequacy review process in response to CMS changes, including its network adequacy rule (included in Ins section 2700) and tool.
It is important to note that NH will continue to "allow networks to count non-physician providers toward satisfying network adequacy standards subject to CMS approval". As we continue to work with the Commission we will advocate for the inclusion of APRNs as well as the future use of less physician-centric language.
