Melanie, a student at Rivier University, is advancing her career as a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for outpatient care. Her work at Dartmouth Health, alongside the challenges of personal loss and becoming a new parent, has solidified her determination to continue her education and achieve her professional goals. With a focus on maintaining academic excellence and building clinical competence, Melanie aspires to make a significant impact on her patients’ lives, inspired by the compassionate care her father received during his cancer treatment. Her future goals include becoming a leader in her field and continuing the tradition of mentorship and patient-centered care that Claire Martin championed.
