SB 556 Signed Into Law - Effective January 1, 2025!

SB 556 Signed Into Law - Effective January 1, 2025!

As summer began to unwind SB 556 cleared its final hurddle and became law when it iwas signed by Governor Sununu. This new law will prohibit health carriers from establishing payment or reimbursement provisions based solely on a participating APRN license. This marks an important step towards payment parity and sustainable reimbursement that supports improved access to care to patients throughout NH. Click here to view bill text and history,

Thank you to all of the APRNs who worked to make this important change happen. It truly was a team effort! Special thanks to our Government Affairs Committee volunteers, our lobbyists, the Duet Group and AANP.

Stay tuned for more information about the bill and how you can take action to increase reimbursement for the services that you provide!
